Full Metal Panic Fumoffu フルメタル・パニック?ふもっふ BD-Box just came out after Christmas, so it’s time to post some pictures… This release is very consistent with the last two.
Yes, this release consists of two Blu-ray Discs (both BD50), and one CD. The video is 480i/p upconvert to 1080i, aspect ratio is 4:3, and has Japanese LPCM 2.0 and English LPCM 5.1 soundtracks. There’s also Japanese subtitles for the English audio, but it’s NOT removable just as the previous two releases. There’s about 10 minutes of special features including non credit opening and ending, TV spots, etc. The CD テレサ・サスタロッサの艦長日記 translates as Captain Theresa Testarossa’s log, I believe this CD was also came with the last DVD-BOX release. So the special features are quite slim.

Move on to the next subject…
I was able to obtain the iso file of the escaflowne movie, file size is 33.6 GB. So as always, I ran a BDinfo check on the files.
This release has Japanese audio, subtitles, and a LPCM 2.0 Korean audio. For the TrueHD audio, the bitrate averages about 2400kbps which is the highest I’ve seen so far for anime release.
Again it’s a Bandai Honneamise release, so high bitrate is expected.
